Although she was already married, Mrs. White reportedly became upset when Mr. Green refused to marry her. At some point during the evening, Mrs. White doused Mr. Green with a pan of boiling grits while he was showering causing third-degree burns on Mr. Green's back, stomach and arms.

Kitchen sink realism (or kitchen sink drama) is a term coined to describe a British cultural movement which developed in the late 1950s and early 1960s in theatre, art, novels, film and television plays, whose 'heroes' usually could be described as angry young men. It used a style of social realism which often depicted the domestic situations of working class Britons living in rented accommodation and spending their off-hours in grimy pubs to explore social issues and political controversies.

for word nerds
Въпреки че е най-използван, всички сме наясно, че SA Dictionary е и най-куцият възможен речник. Не случайно в езиковите гимназии забраняват да се ползват речници и граматики (най-вече граматики) писани от българи. Това беше в ерата B.G. (Before Google). Сега вече можем да тайпнем define: ... и готово. От друга страна, Urban Dictionary успя да реши всичките ни лингвистични проблеми на съвсем ново ниво. Откакто го има, няма текст на хип-хоп песен, който да остане неразгадан и това го поставя on top в личната ми класация.
Ще си позволя, обаче, да препоръчам още две алтернативи.
Definr е мега бърз, suggest-as-you-type речник, който можеш лесно да си туриш у Firefox search box-а. Доста е акуратен според моя опит и съдържа специализирани термини. Е, бързината, с която излизат думите се компенсира от времето, което ти е нужно да си преведеш дефиницията, и все пак..
Visuwords обаче е изрудщината. Какво значи определена дума се разбира чрез връзки с други думи, а като задържиш мишката върху някоя от тях, освен че можеш да местиш и разтягаш цялата диаграма във всички посоки, се показва и значението. Прилича на лесбийските съзвездия от L Word. Поиграйте си малко.
